On the 30th of march 2021 the Local Democracy Agency Mostar organized the local workshop entitled “YOUth SWOT” within the "Regional youth Compact for Europe" project. The activity was performed as interactive event that addressed youth-related topics. Most of the young population in Mostar is not well informed on existing possibilities to improver employability aspects and professional self-growth. In that direction, this activity supported the raising awareness and the non-formal education on the topic on fundamental rights and economic and social issues where employment would be priority concern. One of the workshops presenters was Miss Adina Halilovic, a professional youth worker with considerable experience on the subject. She did a very extensive presentation on employment-related possibilities from national level in Bosnia and Herzegovina to European Union level. Second presenter was Mr. Amil Brkovic who gave an insight into all youth-related Laws that exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The young people had the possibility to actively participate into the debate.
This workshop was also the opportunity to inaugurate YOUth Hub Mostar that was recently renovated by LDA Mostar. The main objectif is to use this space as generator and base for youth networking.
This activity is organised within “Regional Youth Compact for Europe”, a three-year project implemented by Center for Democracy Foundation and 13 partners. The project is funded by the European Union and co-funded by Balkan Trust for Democracy.
