On 19th of August, a Youth Info Point has opened in Knjaževac in Serbia. Moreover, the Local Democracy Agency (LDA) of Knjaževac, has opened a new volunteer service for young people with the Youth Corner’s support.
The Youth Info Point aims to provide access to relevant educational, recreational and cultural information for youth, and more specifically programs, projects and activities for youth mobility on a global level.
On the Youth Info Point Facebook page, one can find information regarding seminars, conferences, scholarships, workshops, etc. Considering the importance of the matter, volunteers from Knjaževac High school, and Trade school, have offered their help, so that we can have better insight into their needs as well as their peers’ needs, and thus we can make the information more accessible.
The Youth Info Point working hours are:
- Every Monday from 18h to 20h in Youth Corner’s office
- Every Wednesday from 12h to 14h in LDA’s office.
The Youth Info Point in Knjaževac was opened within the framework of the program "Balkan regional platform for dialogue and participation of young people of the Balkans", financially supported by IPA Operational Grant project funded by the EU, through the program Civil Society Facility - Operating Grants to IPA CSO Associations. The program is coordinated by the Association of the Local Democracy Agencies together with 8 LDAs from 5 Balkan countries: Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
