Streetabasket 3x3 2017 Zavidovici and Rock night for youth Zabranjeno pušenje was the initiative from the youth organization „SKU Animus“ which applied on Local Youth Fund within Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue.
Streetbasket Tournament was 2nd tournament so far, since the previous one which was held in 2016. This year the tournament was held from 15th until 17th of July 2017 in the Partizan Sport Center and the concert of Zabranjeno Pušenje was held on 15th of July in front of Sport Hall in Zavidovici.
The tournament was even added on FIBA’s (International Basketball Federation) calendar of the events. The tournament was international because the teams who take a part in tournament were from Bosnia and Herzegovina but also from the countries near BiH, such as Serbia and Austria. 24 teams took part in tournament.
The concert of Zabranjeno pušenje, one of the most famous rock bands from Bosnia and Herzegovina was organized on the 15th of July. Around 600 young people attended on concert.
The event like this was the first of its kind in the last 11 years.
These two events were also supported by Local Youth Fund, Municipality of Zavidovici, by private companies in Zavidovici, and by donations of citizens of Zavidovici.
