On 27 and 28 January 2021, National Youth Congress has conducted a series of online trainings as a need to increase political education of 46 Albanian youngsters.
NYC considers relevant to inform youth about Active Citizenship and increase information on Youth Activism and Youth Engagement
Therefore, they held a two days online training on Active Citizenship including what is active citizenship, how it can be done, how can youth engage and contribute on being active.10 ways on how youth can engage in activism and the history of NYC in activism were presented.
In the first day youngsters had the possibility to get informed and discuss for active citizenship in general while the second day the focus was shift only to the way NYC engage in active citizenship for youth empowerment. In this occasion, in the first and second day we had one guest speakers: Mr. Dritan Sakuta, representative of National Civil Society Council. The guest speaker provided a full panorama on the ways how to engage in activism and the benefits from it.
These trainings were organized by “National Youth Congress” form Albania implemented by the Center for Democracy Foundation in the framework of the project Regional Youth compact for Europe.
