International workshop in Mostar: Rule of law and fundamental rights

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

LDA Mostar is already organizing its first workshop in the framework of the project Regional youth compact for Europe. The international workshop “Rule of law and fundamental rights – why is it important for the youth and how youth can contribute to monitor reforms in these fields” will be taking place in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina on the 25 and 26 of March 2019. 

The activity has an objective to empower young people for joining thematic networks and creating their own, by focusing on rule of law, fundamental rights, employment, social cohesion and public administration reforms. 

This workshop will give opportunity to youth organizations to gain and afterwards-  share the knowledge regarding the EU accession procedures and the key reforms in the specific areas. Also, the participants are expected to makecontributions for identifying innovative forms of communication, which will be used in further activities.

The international workshop “Rule of law and fundamental rights – why is it important for the youth and how youth can contribute to monitor reforms in these fields” is organized by LDA Mostar in the framework of the project “Regional youth compact for Europe” implemented by the Center for Democracy Foundation, Balkan Network for Local Democracy, CRTA, Youth Act and Sodem. This project is funded by the European Union and the Balkan Trust for Democracy, a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.

Knjazevac youth debating: Will Serbia's accession to the EU open more opportunities for young people?

‘’Serbia's accession to the EU - more opportunities for young people (?)’’ was the title of the public youth debate that took place on the 19th of April in Knjazevac.  Debate has been prepared as a part of the activities of the Community multi stakeholders` platform in Knjazevac, organized within the project ‘’Regional Youth Compact for Europe’’.

Community multi stakeholders` platforms - Monitoring Reforms Locally in Subotica

On 17th April, a meeting was held in Subotica organised by the Ministry of European Integration, with the representatives of local government, CSOs and Regional development agency. This occasion was taken as the framework for the Community multi stakeholders platform activities within the project ‘’Regional Youth Compact for Europe’’.
