Skopje summer 2017

With great enthusiasm and absolute commitment, 38 years ago on 21th of June, which is on one hand beginning of the summer and on the other World’s day of music the Direction for culture and art has started the long history of Skopje summer, which grew up to be a wonderful tradition that also took place this year. In the past few years according to the carefully compiled program, a lot of performers and ensembles took place, offering the lovers of the art a life time performance in different genres such as music, theater, movies, literacy etc.

Youth Correspondance Exchange from Subotica to Mostar

Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue has introduced the exchange of Youth Correspondents as the new activity of the work programme in the third year of it's implementation. In accordance with aforementioned activity, two Youth Correspodents from Subotica (SRB) will visit Mostar, from 4th-7th of July, where they will be hosted by LDA Mostar and local Youth Correspondents (YC).

Youth Correspondents from Subotica Visited Mostar

In Mostar from 4th to 7th July under the Balkan regional platform for youth participation and dialogue, two Youth correspondents from LDA Subotica participated in exchange activities and had the task of exploring the local cultural heritage and the current cultural scene which will ultimately result in video and textual reportages to be published in Youth Cultural E-Magazine, a new publication of the mentioned program.

Regional research on cultural participation

Local democracy agencies (Prijedor, Mostar, Zavidovici, Niksic, Subotica, Knjazevac and Peja) and ALDA Skopje have launched regional research on topic of Cultural participation of youth in the Balkans, which is implemented in the framework of Balkan regional platform for youth participation and dialogue.

Intercultural exchanges of Youth Correspondents

As part of the Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue, new activity for promoting intercultural dialogue was introduced this year. 16 three-day exchanges for 16 youth correspondents involved in the regional network are going to be organized and implemented from July to November.

30 Balkan Youngsters gathered in Skopje for ALDA Summer University

ALDA Skopje organizes ALDA Summer University for more than 30 youngsters from the Balkan and France from 17 to 22 July. The international event, which will cover the topic “Remembrance and intercultural dialogue” was officially opened today at FON university.

Representative of LDA Montenegro part of the creation of Local Action Plan for youth of Niksic Municipality

The working group for draft of the Local Action Plan for youth 2018 - 2022 of Municipality of Niksic started with work. The first meeting of this working group was held on July 12, 2017 and gathered representatives several civil society organizations, as well as representatives of local authorities: the Employment Agency of Montenegro, the Center for Social Work Niksic and the Niksic Police department.
