On the 30 and 31 March 2021, an online capacity building activity was organized for the members of the Balkan Network for Local Democracy.
The capacity development activity was supported by an expert who functioned as external actor to the network. Capacity building represents core function of the development work of the organsiation and therefore enjoys substantial effort and investment.
This activity should support BNLD, as recently established Network, to strengthening policy development processes, financial management procedures, improving management practices and increase empowerment, ownership and members participation. The available capacity of the organization represents the potential for using resources effectively and maintaining performance.
The main goal is to create and organization with capacity has the ability to function as a resilient, strategic and autonomous entity focused on its mission and vision.
This activity is organised within “Regional Youth Compact for Europe”, a three-year project implemented by Center for Democracy Foundation and 13 partners. The project is funded by the European Union and co-funded by Balkan Trust for Democracy.
