In the period of September until October 2020, four trainings were held by the organisation Eco Action.
The first training was on leadership, public speaking and debate where 18 representatives of the Local Youth Councils in Tetovo had the opportunity to enhance their skills and learn more about the attributes of a good leader.
The second was the training for project cycle management, where the participants gained new skills regarding project writing and project management. The aim was to helped them in identifying potential donors and calls for their project ideas. Moreover, this training was also to help them to learn more about how to convert their ideas in project proposals and how to implement it.
The third one was on active citizenship for the representatives of the Local Youth Council. During this training, the participants had the chance to learn more about active citizenship and youth participation and how to contribute to positive changes in their community.
The last was the training on the topic of European values where the representatives of the Local Youth Councils learned more about the values and the positive part of integration of our country in the EU.
During this period, they also started with the preparation of the two guide books about European Values and Active citizenship. These guidebooks will help the young people to use them in future in order to plan and prepare training for their peers.
These trainings were organized by “Association ecologic organization ECO ACTION Tetovo” form North Macedonia implemented by the Center for Democracy Foundation in the framework of the project Regional Youth compact for Europe.
