Youngsters from Knjaževac about cultural participation

Knjaževac isn’t a big city but, compared to how much people, time and wishes we have, we are fairly good when it comes to cultural participation of young people. We have various annual cultural festivals, frequent book presentations and art exhibitions, we initiate cultural projects etc. Having said that, it can always be better. We are going forward and every day we are trying harder.

Five days is just right

This was only the second time we visited Macedonia, and for first time Skopje and Kavadarci. The trip was rough, both to and back, but the scenery is irreplaceable. The route was Mostar – Sarajevo – Tuzla – Belgrade and finally Skopje.

The fourth meeting of the Local Youth Advisory Group (LYAG) was held in Mostar on 22 December. The meeting was organized by LDA Mostar as one of the activities of the project Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue, co-financed by EU.

The online panel on the topic “Youth and Music” was held on the 27th of December. The discussion on the panel was about young musicians, what are the obstacles and opportunities they are facing in their communities.

My City – Intercultural City in Subotica

The activity called “My City – Intercultural City” in Subotica was held last May as part of the marking of the Day of Europe programme. This activity was held under the slogan “Serbia and EU: Culture that connects us” within the regional project “Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogue”.
