Eight Local Democracy Agencies from five Balkan countries supported a total of 18 youth initiatives in their local municipalities through the Youth Fund Support Programme.
The supported local initiatives share the objectives to strengthen the capacities of youth for active citizenship and participation in the life of their communities, and particularly in policy and decision making processes, increase youth inclusion, especially of youth with fewer opportunities in local activities promoting youth participation and increase the focus of public authorities in targeted communities on the needs of youth in policy-making and decision making processes.
The local initiatives that were supported are:
- Project “Young have a say!” by the Informal Youth Group “Youth Club – InterCOOLt” from Serbia;
- Project “Inclusion of rural youth through work engagement” by CSO ''Genius - Center for the Protection of Human Rights and the development of youth policy” from Serbia;
- Project “Bring change to mind - end the stigma, strengthen the response” by Association of Young Psychologists from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “Active youth talk” by the informal youth group “Debate section of Gymnasium Mostar” from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “Common therapeutic urban garden” by the informal youth group “ZEM- Zemaljska Evolucionarna Mladost - Terrestrial evolutionary youth” from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “Love! Don't Hate!” by KVRL (Local Youth Council of Peja) from Kosovo*;
- Project “Activation of young rural leaders” by “Youth and the countryside” from Serbia;
- Project “Festival of children’s theatre” by Association “Center for education, culture and creative development – Ceker” from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “Youth against violence” by Association “Safe place” from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “Strengthening role of youth in the sport life of Zavidovici” by informal group “Street basket” from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “Be informed - get involved” by “Youth club Niksic” from Montenegro;
- Project “Bouldering course Niksic” by Free climbing group from Montenegro;
- Project “The establishment of youth cooperatives” by informal group "Mladi mladima" from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “neBUDI neINFORMISAN” by informal group "FAP90" from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “SBO(L)JE mladima" by informal group "#DCC" from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project "I want, we can and we all have" by informal group of young volunteers from YC "Ljubija" from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Project “ Youth in Local action” by “Youth Can” from Macedonia;
- Project “The voice of Youth – promoting dialogue between youth and local authorities in Municipality of Kavadarci” by informal group “The Voice of Youth” from Macedonia.
